Following the Government’s guidelines in relation to the COVID-19 outbreak, it is with a heavy heart that we confirm the closure of The Kedleston Country House until June. (Re-opening date to be confirmed).
As the new and proud owners of Kedleston Country House, never did we think our new family venture would begin like this. After a year in the making, our first three months of business is spent in isolation due to the Coronavirus outbreak.
Well, what a start! There have been so many tests and challenges that, despite over a decade in the industry, we just couldn’t prepare for. This including the postponement of a handful of weddings which were due to take place over the coming weeks. We would like to thank all our couples for being so amazing at this difficult time. We cannot wait to bring together all of your plans and have the celebration you deserve.
Whilst none of us know how long this is going to go on for, we are working away behind the scenes to help give you something to look forward to in the future. Here are just a few ways you can still support the Kedleston from the comfort of your own home:
We have put together several voucher options with rewards that means you get more for your money. For example, purchase a £20.00 gift voucher and you’ll receive a £25.00 voucher in return. Spend £50 and you’ll receive £60 in return. More details available here.
Did you know you can provisionally book a night’s stay in one of our luxury suites without financially committing yourself until you arrive? A countryside retreat is a lovely gift to give to yourselves for when all of this has blown over… Take a look at our bedrooms here.
We also have some amazing Winter Wedding Offers with big savings for those loved up couples wishing to tie the knot in November 2020, January 2021, February 2021 and March 2021. Check out our exclusive offers here. Plus, as we’re not open to host our Spring Open Evening, we’ve provided you with a video tour of our venue so you can see exactly how the space is used for weddings. Take a look.
But until then, looking after our staff and guests is our number one priority, and we need to work together in these horrible times. Staying at home is a must so we can bring this under control. The sooner it is bought under control the sooner we can look forward to welcoming you to The Kedleston Country House.
On behalf of us all at The Kedleston Country House, thank you so much for the kind words and support received, this means the world to us. Please stay at home and stay safe. We look forward to seeing you soon.
