2026 Tractor Run Route

Tractors depart from The Kedleston Country House at 4.30pm.

KEDLESTON & ALLESTREE

  • Turn left onto Kedleston Road.

  • Turn left at the T-junction onto Church Road towards Quarndon.

  • Continue straight past The Joiners Arms and Curzon CE Primary School onto Burley Lane, taking the first right onto Woodlands Road.

  • Continue straight past Allestree Park and Portway Infants School.

  • Go straight across the crossroads at the Woodlands Church onto Allestree Lane, until The Markeaton Pub.

  • Turn left at the Kedleston Road T-junction, passing the Co-Op.

  • Turn left onto Birchover Way.

  • Turn right onto Carsington Crescent, continuing past Lawn Primary School toward Park Farm.

  • Turn right at the Park Farm T-junction back onto Birchover Way.

  • Follow Birchover Way all the way along, eventually turning left onto Robincroft Road.

  • Turn left onto Cornhill, continuing straight past the Snooker Hall onto Park Lane.

  • Pass The Little Shed on Park Lane.

  • Turn left at the A6 junction towards Duffield.

DUFFIELD

  • Follow the A6 North toward Duffield, passing Duffield Dairy and the fire station.

  • Turn right at Duffield Baptist Church onto Makeney Road until The Bridge Inn.

  • Turn right onto Eaton Bank and continue ahead, passing The New Inn.

  • Turn left at the T-junction onto Alfreton Road, Little Eaton.

LITTLE EATON

  • Follow Alfreton Road past the Queens Head.

  • Turn left at The Beauty Shack and cross the bridge towards Coxbench.

  • Stay on Alfreton Road past The Bell & Harp and Coxbench Hall.

  • Fork left at the Port Way Junction up Port Way towards Holbrook.

HOLBROOK

  • Continue onto Church Street, then turn right onto Town Street, passing The Spotted Cow.

  • Head up Pond Road to Makeney Road.

  • Turn right at the T-junction onto Makeney Road, following up to Belper Road at Bargate.

BARGATE & BELPER

  • Continue past the old petrol station.

  • Turn left at The White Hart Pub mini-roundabout onto Park Lane.

  • Follow Park Lane to Bargate Road.

  • Turn right onto Park Road, continuing onto Mill Lane.

  • Follow Mill Lane onto Parkside and The Butts.

  • Fork right/join Nottingham Road & Lander Lane.

  • Pass Belper Market Place and the Black Swan pub.

  • Arrive at Morrisons Roundabout and take the 1st exit onto the A6 South toward Milford.

MILFORD & DUFFIELD (Returning to The Kedleston)

  • Follow the A6 past The Tavern, The King William and The Elephant & Peacock back into Duffield.

  • Continue on the A6 past The White Hart and turn right at the Co-Op onto Wirksworth Road.

  • Pass Ecclesbourne School, turning onto Cumberhills Road.

  • Follow Cumberhills Road past the gothic temple.

  • Turn left at the T-junction onto Kedleston Road, back to The Kedleston Country House.
