As a small, family-run Bed & Breakfast, we don't operate a 24-hour reception. We kindly ask all guests to arrive between 3:00pm and 10:00pm, as we are unable to accommodate arrivals after 10:00pm. Check-out is by 11:00am, allowing our team time to prepare each room to the highest standard for our next guests.

Yes, we offer two room rates to suit your stay.
You can choose either a Bed & Breakfast rate, which includes a freshly prepared breakfast each morning, or a Room Only rate if you prefer to make your own breakfast arrangements.

We have ample parking which is offered complementary to all of our guests.

Unfortunately, our restaurant will be permanently closed from 1st September. However, we're fortunate to be surrounded by a fantastic selection of local restaurants, pubs and cafés, and we'll be delighted to recommend some of our favourite places to dine during your stay, including The Joiners Arms and The Cock Inn. Whether you're looking for a cosy country pub, fine dining or a relaxed brunch spot, we're always happy to help you find the perfect option.

Kedleston Country House is perfectly positioned for scenic circular walks, with two carefully selected routes ranging from 2.6 miles to 5.2 miles. Taking you through the picturesque village of Quarndon, across rolling countryside and alongside the stunning Kedleston Estate, these walks offer breathtaking views, local wildlife and plenty of opportunities to enjoy the peaceful surroundings.
Whether you're looking for a gentle morning stroll or a longer countryside adventure, both routes begin and end at Kedleston Country House—making them the perfect way to explore the area before returning to relax with a well-earned drink.

Unfortunately, we do not have lift access, and all of our bedrooms are located on the first floor. As a result, our guest accommodation is not suitable for wheelchair users or guests who are unable to use stairs. If you have any questions about accessibility or specific mobility requirements, please don't hesitate to contact us before booking, and we'll be happy to advise.
