“Richard Felix is most famous as the Historian for Living TV’s Most Haunted, appearing in over 120 episodes. For many years, Richard has been a columnist for the Derby Telegraph, dealing with Derby’s fascinating local history. He is also a regular contributor to Radio Derby.
“In 1992, Richard opened The Derby Heritage Centre. (A Tudor Grammar School) with ghosts and this started the origins of the now world famous Derby Ghost Walk. Richard specialises in ghost tours around the U.K. and Ireland and has personally taken in excess of a million people on a ghost tour.”

Nestled in the elegant surroundings of our historic country house, this cosy indoor market is the perfect way to support local makers while enjoying mulled wine, mince pie, and the warm atmosphere of Christmas.

Our annual charity Tractor Run returns for its third year!
On Sunday 7th December, we’ll be lighting up the streets of Derbyshire with a cavalcade of festive tractors, all for a fabulous charity.
An event for all the family, you can watch the tractors on display at the Kedleston Country House from 4pm, before they set off on their journey, or pop outside your door and give them a wave as they drive past. Our bar will be open, we’ll have delicious food, and more opportunities to raise money for this fantastic cause.

Come along and meet Santa Claus in his magical grotto! Discover who has been naughty or nice, sing festive songs together, and tell him what’s on your Christmas list, with the opportunity to capture a photo too. You’ll receive a lovely gift to take home to put under your tree, and a star to decorate and put in your window.

Our favourite Summer event returns with a festive twist. Join us for a general car meet in our gardens – dress your car up in lights and tinsel, sip mulled wine and enjoy a mince pie or two! We’ll also be serving up our festive Sunday menu in the restaurant – don’t forget to book a table to avoid disappointment.

Wave goodbye to 2025 in style at the annual Kedleston Country House Glitter Ball!
Enjoy festive drink of fizz on arrival, live music from 8pm and a DJ to keep you on the dance floor in the Orangery until the clock strikes midnight! Not only that, but we’ll have plenty of entertainment on the night, including our very first Silent Disco, before celebrating the start of 2026 with fireworks at midnight!
So, dress up in your most sparkly and glamorous attire and say ‘cheers’ to the New Year .
A food menu will be available on the evening. This is not included within your ticket price.

Start the New Year off in the right way, with our delicious Champagne Brunch. For just £30 per person, start with one of our fancy brunch cocktails, before diving into a main course and a dessert course to finish.
