We are offering one incredibly lucky couple the opportunity to WIN their dream wedding day*, right here at The Kedleston Country House.

If you’ve always dreamed of a beautiful countryside Spring wedding in an idyllic setting, then this could be your chance to make that dream come true.

Not only will our venue be the most beautiful backdrop to your special day, but we’ve also teamed up with a fabulous host of local suppliers to help take away some of that financial pressure too – from photographers to cake makers, stylists and florists.

VENUE:
We’re offering full day exclusive hire of The Kedleston Country House for your wedding celebrations, with a delicious 2-course wedding breakfast, evening street food, and you’ll also get to stay in our beautiful bridal suite for the night before and the night of the wedding.

Prize Terms & Conditions:
– The wedding must take place on Monday 8th April 2024, Tuesday 9th April 2024 or Wednesday 10th April 2024. Saturday 27th April is available for an additional fee of £2,000.
– The prize covers the cost for 40 guests. Additional guests can be added for an extra cost per person, with a maximum capacity of 70 guests for the ceremony and wedding breakfast, and 120 guests for the evening reception.
– An extra course can be added to the wedding breakfast for £5 per person up to 40 guests. Additional guests will be charged at the following rates: £55 per person for a 2-course meal or £60 per person for a 3-course meal.
– Extra evening street food is charged at £10.25 per person.
– Our other bedrooms must be booked on the night of the wedding for a charge of £665.

CAKE:
Red Velvet Bakery  are offering a delicious sponge cake up to the value of £500, with the option to upgrade for an additional cost.

FLOWERS:
The Blossom Branch will gift their gorgeous fresh Florist’s Choice flower package worth £500, which includes bridal party flowers, buttonholes and ceremony table decor – florist choice flowers with designs to suit your theme.

FLORAL ARCH & OSTRICH FEATHER WALL
Style the venue with a stunning Floral Arch and Ostrich Feather Wall from Blue Balloon Events, worth £400!

STYLING
Style It Brass & Glass will provide styling for your table and chairs, for the ceremony and wedding breakfast at a value of £400! This would include rental of cheesecloth table runners and chair sashes to match, plus rental of vintage brass or vintage crystal candlestick holders, candlesticks, and vases to dress the tables and the ceremony room. More can be supplied at an additional cost.
Prize Terms & Conditions: Up to 8 tables and up to 40 chair sashes – choices of colour within the range available.

MUSIC
Emily Rose will sing up to 2 hours of live performance songs at your drinks reception OR wedding breakfast, worth £350! Choose from Emily’s repertoire of over 500 songs.

Plus,

David Williams Guitarist will welcome your guests as they are seated for the ceremony, play a song of your choice as you walk down the aisle, 2 songs for the signing of the register and your favourite song as you leave together – worth £350. You will also receive a recording of your special song to help re-live your day for many years to come!

PHOTOGRAPHY
Portfolio Photographic will provide their Silver wedding package, valued at £750. This gives 8 hours’ coverage, 400 images and a couples shoot, with options to upgrade at an additional cost.

HAIR STYLING
Bridal Hairstyles is an experienced bridal hairstylist from Milan, based in the Midlands. The lucky winner will receive a package worth £260 for a luxury wedding hair experience, including a bridal hair trial and consultation at Alice’s studio in Nottingham, plus wedding morning styling for the bride at the venue or your home. Alice says, “I use classic and timeless techniques to create hairstyles that enhance your natural beauty. All brides deserve to look flawless, elegant and beautiful on their wedding day.”

BRIDAL ACCESSORIES
Tracy Lea Bridal are offering the lucky winners £250 worth of free accessories when purchasing their wedding dress from Tracy Lea Bridal.

COMPETITION TERMS & CONDITIONS:

• For the purposes of this competition the ‘entrant’ refers to both parties of the intended couple.
• By entering this competition, you must each be entitled to marry, and be over the age of 18.
• The entrant must not already be a married couple: the competition is not open for ‘renewal of vow’ ceremonies.
• This wedding prize is only for new enquiries online and the venue will not refund anyone who has already booked a wedding at The Kedleston Country House.
• The entrant accepts the prizes as provided by the suppliers, in accordance with their respective terms & conditions, which is the entrant’s responsibility to check.
• If the date selected by the winning couple does not suit a supplier, it is up to the winner & supplier to arrange a date that suits everyone. If a date cannot be agreed by a supplier that part of the prize will not be part of the package.
• The semi finalists must be available to attend an evening ceremony at The Kedleston on 17th June 2023.
• The wedding must take place on either Monday 8th April 2024, Tuesday 9th April 2024, or Wednesday 10th April 2024. Saturday 27th April 2024 is available for an additional fee of £2,000.
• The chosen wedding date must be secured before 1st August 2023.
• The entrant agrees to partake in any publicity both online or in print, including the use of their names, photographs and general locations for publicity or news purposes in relation to this and future promotions by The Kedleston Country House, associated suppliers, and media outlets.
• The Kedleston Country House accepts no responsibility for late, missing, illegible, incomplete, misspelled or otherwise invalid entries.
• It is the couples responsibility to arrange their ceremony direct with the registery office. The costs of the register and wedding certificates is not included in the prize and will need to be paid for by the winners.
• If the entrant would prefer for the ceremony to take place in a church or place of worship, they are able to do so, however this must be arranged by themselves, and any costs resulting from a change of ceremony location will need to be paid for by the winners.
• Mis-representative or fraudulent entries will invalidate an entry. The Kedleston Country House reserve the right, with or without cause, to exclude Entrants from the competition, and the suppliers may withhold prizes for violation of any of these terms and conditions at their own discretion.
• The Kedleston Country House and any suppliers involved in the prize reserve the right to amend these terms and conditions. Any amendments will be published at www.kedlestoncountryhouse.co.uk/winawedding – you are advised to regularly check the website for any changes.
• The winners agree to liaise directly with the participating suppliers in order to claim their prize. The Kedleston Country House does not take any responsibility for any communications with the participating suppliers in this competition.
• There is no cash or other alternative to the prizes stated and a prize is not transferable, however prizes may be substituted for a suitable alternative at the supplier’s discretion.
• Winners may be required to submit valid identification before receiving their prize.
• The Kedleston Country House and any suppliers involved in the competition reserve the right any time to cancel, modify or supersede the competition in any manner whatsoever if, at their sole discretion, should they decide the competition is not capable of being conducted as specified.
